Terms of Service

1. A bounded reflection tool

The app offers concise, Mian Xiang-inspired philosophical reflections based on temporary differences in your own scans. It is cultural entertainment and a prompt for self-reflection. The proposition that a face establishes character has no scientific basis. The app does not establish facts about personality, emotion, spirituality, ability, health, worth, identity, future or destiny.

2. Not professional advice

The app is not a medical device or an aesthetic, psychological, employment, education, credit or identity assessment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything and must not replace professional advice.

It does not rate you. There is no attractiveness score, rank, percentile or comparison with another person.

3. Adult, self-scan use only

The closed test is for people aged 18 or older. Use only your own live camera image or your own photograph. Do not scan another person, upload a third party’s image, or use an output to make a decision that affects another person.

4. Your photo and optional events

The photo, numerical measurements and temporary face map are processed on your device and discarded after an accepted scan. Only allow-listed categories and the three reflection sentences remain in a padded, encrypted local vault. The vault can still be lost if site data is cleared, the app is removed, the device is lost, or browser storage is evicted; keep a portable encrypted backup.

5. No purchase in V1

This closed-test version has no subscription, purchase, paywall, invite gate or paid entitlement. No payment is required for a scan or local history.

6. Availability and responsibility

The app is supplied as-is for a limited test and may abstain when a face or lighting condition cannot be measured consistently. Do not treat a reflection as evidence or advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made from an output. Nothing in these terms excludes non-excludable rights, including Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
